Australian Power Grid (AEMO NEM)
The spot price and operational demand of Australia's National Electricity Market - one of the most volatile power markets on earth (huge solar/wind, grid batteries, price spikes to the market cap). AEMO publishes the Regional Reference Price (RRP, AUD/MWh) and operational demand (MW) per NEM region as one CSV per month × region; we stitch them into one clean multi-region, multi-metric Parquet - 5-minute from Oct-2021, 30-minute before. Mirrors the ENTSO-E / EIA / Elexon power products, extending the grid suite to the Australian continent.
European Capacity Factor by Fuel
Capacity factor (%) per European zone × fuel × interval - actual generation divided by installed capacity. How hard each fleet is actually working; the asset-utilization metric.
European Grid Carbon Intensity
Interval-level historical grid carbon intensity (gCO2eq/kWh) per European bidding zone - the generation-weighted average of IPCC lifecycle emission factors. Powers carbon-aware scheduling research, ESG reporting, and emissions analytics.
European Carbon

ENTSO-E publishes one series per DIRECTION, so each interconnector is two rows (A→B and B→A); subtract them for the net flow, or sum a zone's borders for its net import/export balance. The physical realisation behind every price spread, congestion event and market-coupling study, 2021-present.

Actual electricity consumption (load) for every European bidding zone, cleaned from ENTSO-E's XML into one analysis-ready Parquet - the demand side of every power model.
European Energy Dependency & Renewables
Both sides of the energy-security coin in one clean Parquet: how much energy each European country must IMPORT (net-import dependency, total and by fuel) AND how much it now gets from RENEWABLES (share of overall final energy, electricity, transport and heating/cooling - the official Renewable Energy Directive metric). One row per country × measure × year since 2000. The core energy-security-and-transition gauge; joins to energy prices, gas flows and generation.
European Energy Indicators
The EU energy-transition-and-security picture in one clean annual panel, per country: the renewable share of energy (overall, electricity, heating & cooling, transport - the 2030-target benchmark) AND energy import dependency (overall and by fuel - the security-of-supply signal). Assembled from Eurostat into one tidy long file: how green, and how import-reliant, each European country's energy is, over time. The `indicator` column selects the series.
European Energy Prices
What Europeans actually pay for power and gas, in one clean Parquet. Eurostat's semi-annual retail energy prices for every European country: household and industrial electricity (€/kWh) and gas (€/GJ), each both all-taxes-included and excluding taxes - so the tax-and-levy wedge is explicit. One row per country × series × half-year since 2007. Captures the 2022 energy shock and the policy responses in full; joins to generation, load and carbon on country code.
European Energy
The decarbonisation dashboard for every European country in one file: the renewable share of electricity generation, grid carbon intensity, retail household electricity and gas prices, energy import-dependency and total greenhouse-gas emissions - aligned on country × year. European Power Capture Rates by Technology
Which generation technology actually earns above or below the average power price, per bidding zone per month: the volume-weighted CAPTURE PRICE and the CAPTURE RATE (capture ÷ month baseload) for nuclear, gas, hard coal, lignite, reservoir hydro and wind & solar. Baseload plant sits near 1.0; dispatchable peakers clear above 1.0; variable renewables fall below 1.0 as they self-cannibalise. The whole fleet's revenue quality in one panel - the metric that decides asset economics and PPA pricing - derived cleanly from day-ahead prices + generation-by-fuel across ~40 European zones, 2018-present. Licence-clean and AI-training-safe.
European Power Price Blocks
The block structure European power is actually traded in, per bidding zone per month: baseload, peak (Mon-Fri 07:00-19:00 UTC, the CET business block) and off-peak average prices, plus the peak/off-peak spread - the premium every block trader, PPA pricer and utility hedger quotes. Derived cleanly from day-ahead prices across ~40 European zones, 2018-present, one row per zone × month × block. Licence-clean and AI-training-safe.
European Power Scarcity & Flexibility Stress Index
A single daily per-zone stress score composited from day-ahead price, net (residual) load, residual-load ramps and load-forecast error - the cross-market scarcity gauge, with the underlying price for context. Trailing z-scores only.
European Power Price Convergence & Congestion
How coupled or congested each European power border is, day by day: for ~55 neighbouring bidding-zone pairs, the mean absolute day-ahead price spread (EUR/MWh), the signed mean spread (zone A - zone B), and the share of hours the two zones cleared at an identical price (fully coupled). Interconnector congestion and market-decoupling events show up as a widening absolute spread and a falling coupled-hours share - the interconnector-value and congestion signal traders and TSOs watch, pre-computed from day-ahead prices, 2018-present. Licence-clean and AI-training-safe.
European Price Spike Events (≥200 EUR/MWh)

European Renewable Cannibalisation Index
Wind+solar monthly capture price ÷ the month's time-average price, per European bidding zone. Below 1 = cannibalisation - renewables earn less than the average price because they all produce at the same hours. The single number that decides renewable project economics.
European Renewable Capture Prices
What price renewable output actually fetches across Europe, monthly per zone: the solar and wind capture prices, the cannibalisation ratio (how much renewables depress their own capture as penetration rises), and per-fuel capture prices and capture rates. The whole renewable value-capture picture in one panel - the number every PPA, merchant-renewable and offtake model is built on.
European Renewable Energy Shares (SHARES)
The renewable share of energy for every European country, split the four ways that matter for the 2030 targets: overall gross final energy, electricity (RES-E), heating & cooling (RES-H&C) and transport (RES-T). The monthly volume-weighted price solar generation actually captured, per European bidding zone - solar output × price ÷ solar output. The headline metric for solar-asset valuation and PPA pricing, pre-aligned from generation + prices.
European Temperature
Weather-normalized daily electricity demand per European zone: per-zone regression of daily mean load on heating + cooling degree days, with the temperature component stripped out. European Weather
What a heatwave or cold snap cost (or saved) each European power-market zone yesterday, priced at the day-ahead clearing price: the weather-driven load deviation from the temperature-normalized demand baseline (MW), that deviation monetised (EUR/day), and a trailing 90-day z-score of the monetised anomaly. A price-weighted anomaly, not the grid's realised balancing/imbalance cost - built strictly look-ahead-free (the z-score at day t uses only days before t).
